I am driven by the power of sport to unite and inspire.

I grew up in Portland, OR playing nearly every sport possible: soccer, basketball, cross country, and even ultimate frisbee. Throughout college, I realized it wasn't just the action of playing the sport that made me love it. It was the community of sport that drew me in — the shared heartbreak, joy, and emotions that bring people together. I want to cultivate that sense of unity in my career.

In my free time, find me playing chess, listening to music, running, hiking, and just about everything else outdoors. Above all, building genuine relationships with people is my favorite thing in the world. The power of sport can spur those kinds of relationships.

Selected work

Case work, campaigns, and the stories behind them

B1G Sports Business Challenge · First place, Indianapolis 2025

The Power of a Pint

In just 48 hours, our team was tasked with coming up with an innovative strategy to quadruple blood donations in the third year of the "We Give Blood" initiative between Abbott and the Big Ten. We competed against numerous other Big Ten schools, presented twice in front of different panels, and eventually were crowned champions for our creative ideas and strategic thought process. I continued to apply what I have learned in the classroom to a real-world setting and am proud to be the first student to provide two pieces of hardware to the Warsaw Sports Business Center.

Sports Marketing Association National Case Study Bowl · Champions, St. Louis

Powered by Pickles

My four-person team and I won the University of Oregon's first title at the Sports Marketing Association National Case Study Bowl in St. Louis. We created a sports marketing plan with creative tactics to bring SuckerPunch Pickles to a collegiate audience under a demanding 48-hour deadline. Together, we developed and presented the winning strategic plan, competing against 19 other teams. This high-stakes environment significantly honed my strategic thinking and teamwork, highlighting my ability to excel under pressure.

Oregon Consulting Group × Nike · Case competition

Winning Now, through supply chain innovation

In a case competition organized by the Oregon Consulting Group and Nike, my team of four was selected to compete against other groups in a case about Nike's supply chain. We were tasked with utilizing the Innovator's Hypothesis to test three potential problems in Nike's supply chain. The case sharpened my creative problem-solving skills in a field I was previously not familiar with. This case made me a more well-rounded employee, with experience in marketing, analytics, and now supply chain.

Sports Marketing Association Case Study Bowl · Semi-finalist, Glendale AZ

Rooted in Red

My return to the Sports Marketing Association's Case Study Bowl was with a new team and a different style of case. The weekend before the event in Glendale, AZ, our team created a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy for the Arizona Cardinals, detailing four distinct tactics. We successfully navigated the first round of judging against 21 other teams and advanced to the semi-finals. I polished my strategic thinking, public speaking, and collaboration skills while delivering a high-quality final product.

National Sports Forum · Virtual case competition

A Hotbed for Fencing

My four-person team competed in a virtual case competition hosted by the National Sports Forum, tasked with building a strategy to grow USA Fencing's membership across the Chicago metro area in under 48 hours. Instead of casting a wide net, we narrowed USA Fencing's broad marketing approach to a specific audience — STEM-oriented students and their parents, drawn to the balance of strategy and physical activity — and built a two-pronged plan around co-branded club materials and sponsorships of STEM competitions and community events, backed by a full budget and a content-creation internship program. We presented our recommendation virtually to the judging panel. Working remotely under a tight deadline sharpened my ability to move quickly, divide work effectively, and keep a strategy anchored to a single, well-defined goal.

Sports Sponsorship coursework · Selected as best project

Carrying the Torch

In sports sponsorship class, my team and I developed a multi-channel sponsorship activation plan for the SEGA and IOC partnership. We developed three tactics, grounded in an overarching strategy, and presented our plan to the class. Included is a full budget, ROI, and a ROO analysis. The presentation was delivered in front of the class and chosen as the best project.

ScoopDuck (On3 Sports) · Writing intern

On3

As a sophomore, I was a writing intern at ScoopDuck, an On3 Sports affiliate and one of the most prominent sports media outlets in the country. I wrote recaps of Oregon Duck games throughout the season, documenting the game flow of every home and away game. I also wrote articles exclusive to ScoopDuck subscribers, offering in-depth game previews, season outlooks, and detailed analysis of team performance and strategy. Additionally, I asked insightful questions at post-game press conferences with coaches and players, and incorporated their answers into my articles.

Let's talk.

Through these experiences, I have developed a strong foundation of practical skills that I am eager to bring to my professional career. I am a strategic thinker who performs well under pressure and consistently uses data to guide my decisions. Most importantly, I excel at building meaningful relationships with peers, clients, and managers, and I take pride in collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds to create high-impact marketing campaigns.
